BIO: N. Raging Grace (Formerly known as Princess Ninakatra "the Graceful" of the Royal Beckheim family) escaped from her family’s Island Kingdom of Bachitoff (off the southern coast of Africa) in 1991 when radicals invaded, killed her entire family and left her hiding, hungry and penniless for four years. Disguised as a Somali national, she escaped the island working as a ship's crew on a German merchant marine ship cleaning the ship’s bowels and listening while listening to awful stories of abuse by her shipmates. Patiently, she did her job on the ship for six more years until she finally escaped. During that time, the anger at the injustice began to surface and she searched for an outlet.

She naturally discovered derby skating because of all her years at sea. Skating gives her that "sea legs" sense. She's at home on roller skates. She became know as 'Grace'.

NRG is regal, strong, patient and a true terror when the fury is unleashed. She is a fierce competitor and shows love and compassion only to her derby family. Some say watching her skate is to watch poetry in motion. Of course we're talking about the kind of poetry written by Edgar Allen Poe.

So, what does the “N” stand for? 'Nevermore'...

What makes her happy: Colorful flowers, action packed sporting events, furry pets and a warm summer breeze. What makes her happiest: being with her loved ones

What makes her mad: Ignorance, intolerance, pet hair on every piece of clothing she owns, and slow moving minivans.

Favorite things about Roller Derby: Sisterhood, challenges, smooth cross-overs, and endurance training.
