If you've heard of the Road Not Taken
I traveled the
ROAD THAT WASN'T THERE

I tripped many times
and some trees fell on me
but I dug myself out
from under those trees

I learned 3 martial arts
and how to shoot, you see
I learned ammo, guns, and archery

I even fenced for awhile
with saber and epee
and I learned to kick A$$
the "southern way"

I went into the briar-patch
arose with prickers on my bum
I picked them all off
and drank lots of Rum

I fell into a hole
learned to rockclimb out
it saved my soul
but tore my heart out
(outdoor Cali is awesome for that)

I toppled overboard
MORE than once
off a yacht, dinghy, and a dock
needless to say I lost
more than a sock

My ID and my life fell into the Sea
so I decided "What the hell,
maybe a mermaid I'll be"

I love the things under the sea
so I hung with that
until one day
the land beckoned me back

I have lived many places
starting at age 3(weeks old that is)
I have seen many faces
and finally, Derby found me!!!

I was all set to roll with the girls on a team
when "wham" that damn road
changed again on me

At present I am here with NHRD
sadly not a skater as I'd DESPERATELY WANTED TO BE
but as an AWESOME SUPPORTER OF A FABULOUS TEAM
and wait...now hear this...
a mommy to be!!!
